Like most filler caps, it failed to work after a month.  Someone said buy a Fiamma one but we’ve tried to get one.

This time, it’s a design-compromise.  The water inlet is only slightly higher than where water arrives in the tank.  You fill the tank with a virtually horizontal inlet pipe so water cascades out.  For now, there’s a piece of hosepipe perm­an­ently in place.
