The lighting in the table area

Wifie has macular eye problems and if lights are too bright, she suffers.  The lights in the van are high voltage- consumption ones which is a drain on the battery.  That said, sometimes both of us need an extra light for reading at the table and the lights aren’t bright enough.  Subdued lighting generally is needed and extra when you need it.

We have put a light to the left of the table out of the way when watching TV.

While we were about it, there’s a new light above the wardrobe door to give better lighting in the corridor and when finding things on the bed.

Going back to the MMM article, Nov 2008, on page 129, Mark Brownrigg deals with "the dreaded heavy table"  That's because it needs to be dragged out of a cupboard or somewhere towards the stern.  Our Pinnacle has a "fixed" table only moved if battery-work needs to be done.

The table was one of the many deciding-features when we signed up for the Pinnacle.
