Welcome!

This is The Motorcaravan Club.  We don’t produce a monthly printed magazine.  Communication here is instant!

Please don't use the email link at the top of each page.  See why in a minute.

Like most people who run around in peculiar adaptations to various and once-normal vehicles, we belong to organisations which provide us with that sort of thing, info on sites, reviews of motorhomes, adverts and letters.  However, on this site all these things can happen (but no mags through the letter-box), as we said, for all who visit this website.

This site is specialised, instant, adaptable and, above all else, friendly.  Make new friends, learn about new aspects of motor-caravanning and generally make the world of motorhomers in the UK a better place to enjoy ourselves.

It’s just as well to have a quick look at words used.  Motorcaravan here means motorhome as well and we don’t go in for six-fathom deep definitions.  We might use both words in the same sentence (we did two sentences ago and you didn’t notice), so don’t lose sleep over it.

We specialise in the positive and when anything isn't quite as we ourselves like things in our Pinnacle motorhome, we get on and change it when we can.  If this website only benefits a few, it will have been worthwhile.  We tell you how we've made the changes and hope you'll tell us if what you read is helpful.  Perhaps the only thing that sounds un-positive before you find it is 'something nasty in the wood-shed'.  You can make your own mind up when you open the door yourself.

We hope to talk to you soon.  Just write in. See the PPS below.

This website was created on 24 October 2008.  It has not been launched in any sense including submitting details to the media until May 22 09.

PS – The graphic came with the website so just imagine yourselves with a G & T enjoying the waterfall.

PPS – If you have found this site by chance, we’d like you to help us by sending a quick message via avrf23@dsl.pipex.com  - please don't use the link above as we haven't worked out how to trnsfer messages to our normal email system..

Even more helpful would be to look at “Our Stuff 1” to see if there’s a better way doing things.  No need to go straight to it.  Enjoy yourself on the way.

PPPS   At this the trial-run stage, we looked at domains in the Domain Shop.  Those with 'motorhome' in them were two or three times the price we paid for the one we chose.        .co.uk domains were cheapest.  We would stress that we are not a company.  We're long retired and we're enjoying the outdoor life as long as we can.  All this computer stuff is quite a challenge so any help always appreciated.
