Bathroom

Here’s what we said earlier.

We have mountains of paraphernalia and have converted the shower into storage under three useful shelves.

Many of the Lunar bathrooms are just right for the new function.  There’s two handy ledges already there on both sides.  All you do is tie two of the shelves to the strips of plastic already fitted.  The third shelf is an extension from the second shelf up.

As you know if you do DIY, there’s hardboard with one white face at B & Q etc.  Use it to protect the under-shelf area and you can store dirty stuff like chocks when you leave a site.  We keep them in plastic bags anyway.  The essence of this unit is that items like chairs, a back-rest for use when sitting up in bed, are easily obtainable.

A straw-poll at the water-hole suggests fewer than 50% of motorhomers use their shower for its intended purpose.  More five-units per-site sites, even, have their own nowadays.

The bathroom design was a compromise in relation to the lovely long kitchen surface plus the bed-access factor.  It is easy to fit a light-weight panel to the bathroom door to give you elbow room and we will show you how it's done.
